Slice of Life - week 3
You are more than welcome to submit your Slice of Life story on any or all of the following prompts even though they are from a past week post. As a writer, I know I do my best writing when I write about a prompt that “gets to me” instead of forcing a write on a specific prompt during a specific time frame.
Slice of Life choices for the week of April 6, 2008 were:
1. Meeting your best friend.
2. Illness of your child.
3. Family reunion.
Once you have posted your Slice of Life Sunday story on your blog, come back and leave a comment with the url to your post. My true desire is for each of us to harvest wisdom from both the joy of reliving the good memories in our lives and the strength gained from gleening what we can from the not-so-good memories and then putting them away for good. If you see a previous prompt you would like to write about, please do so and let me know.

~~ Good Morning Jen, I do appreciate you continued support in this project. I too am excited to getting more participants. I guess it takes time to build a following. And as they say… Rome wasn’t built in a day… of course my response is, I don’t want to build a city, just write a book. Maybe God wants me to learn patience through this project. LOL Cricket

And yes, I have used Mr Linky on Cricket’s Hearth for Thursday Thirteen but it is not the regular one that so many blogs not hosted by wordpress use. ~~Hi Sherry, Actually you are not late. You have all week if you want, or may even go back and pick up a previous prompt. I have very few rules here. I loved the picture with your slice of life. And you advice was right on the money. Isn’t it a shame more young girls do not understand this? Their teenage years would be so much more fun. Cricket

I am finally getting my slices of life posted on Cricket’s Hearth! I posted a family reunion story a day or so ago and this morning I woke up early and was inspired to write about the birth of my daughter.
